2024 Bear Paw Photo Contest

We're thrilled you're here and ready to enter the 2024 Bear Paw Festival Photo Contest!

The entry process is pretty simple but involves two steps

  1. Creating an account with ArtCall (free)
  2. Submitting your photos

To get everything started click the "Register" button in the upper right hand corner of the page. If you're on a phone or tablet, click the three horizontal bars in the upper right-hand corner to reveal the "Register" button. The information we are requiring allows us to contact you. In the event one or more of your photos wins a cash prize, we'll have an address where we can mail your check.

  1. First, you'll be asked to provide your name and the email address we can use to best contact you
  2. Create a password for accessing your account. Each person will need their own, unique, email address. The ArtCall system allows only once account per email.
  3. You should then see a pop-up dialog asking you to update your profile before you enter any photos. Click "Got it!". This will take you to the Update User Profile page.
  4. Complete all the boxes on the Update User Profile page. We will not judge any photos from photographers that have not fully completed this information.

Once you've created your account, the User Dashboard will appear.

  1. You'll need to pay for your entries before you submit them.
    • You can submit up to 100 photos. The first photo you enter is $10. Additional photos are $7.50. 
    • Click the "Purchase Submission Credits" button. This takes you to the "Submission Payment" page.
    • Click in the "Pay for How Many?" window and select the number of photographs you plan to enter.
    • The total entry fee will appear below the "Pay for How Many?" window.
    • Enter your credit or debit card information in the "Card Details" window. You will need to provide the card number, card expiration date, CVC code from the back of the card, and the ZIP code where the statement for the card is mailed.
    • Click the "Submit Payment Charge" button. This will take you to the "New Submission Details" window.
  2. For each photo you enter you must
    • Select the category based on your age: Adult (over 18), Teen (13-17), or Youth (12 and under).
    • Select the sub category: Eagle River, People, Scenic, Flora, Fauna, Cultural, or Creative.
    • There are no sub categories for the Youth category. All Youth photos are entered in Open
    • Enter a title for the photograph
    • Click the "Submit Entry Details" button.
  3. This will bring you to the "Add Entry Attachement(s)" page
    • This is where you will add the photo.
    • Click "Add Attahment"
    • Once your photo has successfully uploaded, click "Complete & View Entry"
    • You'll recieve a notice that your photograph is successfully entered. Click "Got It!"
  4. If you want to enter another photograph, click "Add New Submission" and repeat the entry process.
